Dear Nigel,
As an F1 fan in North America it makes me sick to see empty grandstands around the world for races, when we lost the GPs at Indy and Montréal. Montréal was always packed with fans and a bad year at Indy still featured 150,000 people on race day (when you have 400,000 seats it admittedly looks a bit empty). I feel as if F1 is spitting in our face, and now with all the in-fighting I actually get more excited about a local Sprint Car race at some dirt track here in the States than F1. It stinks. How is this movie going to end?
