Dear Nigel,
I wonder if you could share your thoughts on the late Jo ‘Seppi’ Siffert, a real character in the paddock in the 1960s and ’70s. I was once told that Seppi carried a comical message on a card that he kept in his race overall pockets, and that he used to flash said message at spectators and team personnel on the occasions when he blew up or crashed his race cars. What do you recall about the great Swiss driver?
