On the same day that Gordon Brown gave Lewis Hamilton the Richard Seaman Trophy, the government announced that the parliamentary debate on the police raid of the offices of Damian Green would be restricted to three hours. Does that mean that Lewis Hamilton is now bigger than democracy?
