Not being in with a realistic chance of winning will demotivate Nigel, and given his lack of endurance racing experience, what are the odds of him caning the car in the first stint and leaving it in pieces? ;) I think it'd take him a good couple of seasons to get the technique, the tactics and the stamina for endurance racing storted out. I have no doubts that he will be competitive in the right car when he's played himself in, though...
