Really wonderful to read Nigel Roebuck as well. Perhaps more stars will align and who knows, by next year Max and F1 chess will be gone, and real Grand Prix will slowly return.

100% in agreement with John Miller. I wonder what Jenks would have said about the current F1 scene.

I know that what I regard as the Motor Sport magazine revival isn't due to just one man, but this seems as good a place as any for me to say that I have been transported back to my personal Golden Age.

The magazine has acquired a new presence, a new relevance and authority that it possesed back in the days when Jenks was the Continental Correspondent.

Ever since Autosport took over the cheeky, jokey mantle of Motoring News, only to descend into cerebral analyses worthy of a Mosley motorised chess match, I have yearned for a contemperaneous version of the old Motor Sport. And now, it seems, I've got it.

Thanks guys.

It's fantastic reading a Nigel Roebuck Grand Prix report again, another great idea from Motor Sport!

Interesting the hint that Domenicali wanted to sign the petition! Funny to note Williams were the only non Ferrari linked team not to sign, are they worried about the prospect of a Todt presidency? Certainly dosen't fill me with great enthusiasm i have to say! Well i guess it's too late for him to stop the return of slicks at least...
